“A Life Well Lived”
Deslyn Fordice Yorke, also known as “Crow” to many, born in Plymouth Tobago on October 19, 1932, has gone home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2020. She had a heart of gold, cared for all who came around her, was vibrant, loving, and determined. She loved to dance and travel the world, but felt most at home baking, sewing, and tending to her bountiful garden. She also loved the lord, and it was evident in the kindness and caring she bestowed upon family, friends and even strangers. She is survived by her husband Sonny Jordan; her children, Doreen Haynes, Desna Hunte, and Lindsay Fordice; sons-in-law Stephen Haynes and Wayne Hunte and daughter-in-law Shelly Fordice; grandchildren, Natasha Haynes, Nikisha Smith, Akil Hunte, Nyisha Haynes, Stephen Haynes, Akilah Hunte, Rasha Fordice, Nylia Fordice and Kyree Fordice; and great-grandchildren Adam and Aaron Smith. She was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
