It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dale B. Croft, born on May 25, 1962, in Edinburgh, Scotland. Dale departed this life on March 7, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Dale will be remembered fondly by his beloved wife, Laura "Cris" Croft, who together shared a life filled with passion and laughter. He is survived by his devoted parents, Gilbert and Elizabeth Croft, and his caring sister, Cheryl Riley, and her husband Jeff. Dale's family extends to his nephew Adam Riley and his wife Nicole, along with his great nieces Ellie Adelyn and McKenne, and great nephew Mason. He also leaves behind his niece Megan Bishop and her husband Matt. Dale is remembered by his uncles Alan Bruce and Mike Croft, and his aunt Carolyn Jennings and her husband John Ballanger, along with numerous cousins who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
A man of many joys, Dale found solace in saltwater fishing, shrimping, and his passion for trees, evidenced by his certification as an arborist. His greatest joy, however, was the time spent with his granddaughters Leila, Addie, and Sara, who were the light of his life.
In tribute to Dale's life, a Funeral Service will be held on March 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sanctuary Church. Following the service, a Graveside Service will take place at Osceola Memory Gardens at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Dale's life, sharing stories and remembering the warmth he brought to all who knew him.
As we grieve the loss of a beloved husband, father, and friend, we take comfort in the memories that will forever remain in our hearts. Dale's spirit will be carried on through the lives he touched and the love he shared with his family and friends.
