Curtis Lawrence Hudson

Curtis Lawrence Hudson, born January 27, 1970 beloved son, brother, father and uncle passed away peacefully on September 27, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. Curt grew up in Conway and resided there his whole life. Immersed in everything Conway from the lake to Little League, the Hudson family was an unforgettable fixture adding passion for the community and lasting friendships in their dedication to the Conway area. In his younger years Curt had a love for baseball where he was coached by his father, Ron Senior. Curt continued to play baseball through Jackson Junior High and Boone High School. Curt graduated from Boone in 1988 and began working for the family business, Hudson Flooring. Curt loved to hunt, fish, write songs on his guitar and was often seen cruising through the neighborhood on anything with wheels. He truly never met a stranger and shared his heart generously with anyone that crossed his path. He cherished his two daughters, Alyssa and Rilee, and treasured every moment spent with them. In keeping with his generous spirit, Curt was able to give the gift of life through organ donation. This beautiful act saved the lives of two people and leaves an amazing legacy and remembrance of Curt for the ones he left behind. Curt was preceded in death by his daughter Alyssa and his father Ron Hudson Sr. He is survived by his mother Jeanie Hudson; his brothers Ron Hudson Jr. (Julie) and Cary Hudson (Sheryl); daughter Rilee; nieces Gray and Carrigan. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 17th at 2:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32806. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in memory of Curt Hudson.
