Claire Mcnearny

Mrs. Claire "Yvette" McNearny of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away from natural causes on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at 3:30p.m. She was 90 years of age.
Yvette was born to parents, Louis and Anita Couture on January 18, 1928. She grew up in Yonkers, New York but attended and graduated from St. Nicholas of Tolentine Catholic Academy in Bronx, New York.
In 1949, she married her sweetheart, James McNearny, where they began their lives together in Melbourne, Florida. They remained married for 69 years until James, after a long fought battle, succumbed to cancer in August of 2017. Yvette is survived by her two children, Karen McNearny-Madrazo and Diane McNearny-Thiessen.
There will not be a memorial service as their ashes will be encased in an "Eternal Reef" where, together, they will be laid to rest of the coast of Florida.
The family would like to thank Karett Baker and LaShanda Baker, a s well as the staff at Life Care Center of Altamonte Springs for their care and dedication.
