Charlotte Brown

Charlotte Brown (nee Sawa), passed away in peace on July 16, 2015. She was 68. Charlotte was the daughter of Zenon and Lydia Sawa, long-time residents of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

She was born in a refugee camp in Austria, after WW II, as her parents emigrated from Ukraine. They settled in Prairie in 1949.

Charlotte graduated from St. Mary's Academy in Prairie in 1964, then moved to Chicago and later to Orlando, Florida.

She is survived by her son Ross Parse of St. Charles, IL and her two brothers, Greg Sawa of Mandeville, LA and Martin Sawa of Los Angeles, CA

A viewing will be held at St. James Cathedral, 215 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando, on Tuesday, July 21, from 9:00am until time of funeral mass at 10:00am. Charlotte will be inurned with her parents at Calvary Cemetery in Prairie du Chien.
