Carol Adams Egolf, 74, born in St. Petersburg, FL, on Sept.10, 1946, passed away June 19, 2021 in Orlando, FL. She was the daughter of Dr Joy E. and Iva Adams, both deceased, and loving wife of William. She was a longtime beloved teacher at Boone High School and was named Teacher of the Year in 1999. She leaves many students who will remember her wit and humor teaching Latin and Spanish. She was a devoted FSU fan, where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees and was proud to be a member of the Marching Chiefs band. She was a longtime member of the Conway United Methodist Church where was active in many church activities. She was also involved in the Adult Literacy League, Orlando. She is survived by her husband, William, sister-in-law Katherine Egolf, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her sisters Patricia Straughan and Peggy Lynn Adams, as well as her brother Michael Adams. Services will be private. Funeral arrangements by Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, Orlando.
