Betty "Bette" Dober

Betty Jean Rew was born on St. Patrick's Day 1930 to Bryant and Nell Rew. Her remaining family members are thankful for all of her sacrifices, love, support and 93 years of bravery. She had the most positive attitude and never met an enemy. She survived all four of her brothers Billy, Bobby, John, WP and her one sister, Mary. She married and had three children, surviving her oldest son, Mike and middle child, Sandi as well as two of her grandchildren Drew and DJ. She has one remaining son, David. She is also survived by her granddaughters Kellie and Shellie as well as her grandson Mike. Betty was blessed with seven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. She lived by the virtue of being grateful for each day. She took care of her health so that she could be here for those she dearly loved. She adored to travel. She took many camping trips with her youngest brother, WP, and his great group of "GoldWing" friends. She especially loved traveling to her home away from home in Newfoundland, Canada. Betty had a spirit that was fueled by her love for God. She enjoyed reading and writing letters to those that she loved. She had an amazing gift of teaching love and strength with her simplistic presence. She was a gifted homemaker, organizer and caregiver. She fulfilled that passion as her life long profession. She LOVED shopping for clothes and matching accessories and was always dressed to the nines with her "Love That Pink" shade of lipstick. This is a woman the world needed. She gave without expecting anything in return and left EVERYTHING better than she found it. On Monday, May 1st, 2023 at 2:30 pm, she traveled one more time, changed her address to heaven and will be profoundly missed by all.
