Betty Lou Boza

Betty 90, passed away on March 24, 2024, in Orlando, Florida.

Betty Boza was born on September 21, 1933 in Key West, FL, to Charles Filer and Edna Carey.

Betty graduated from Key West High School. She started her career as a Home Maker and went on to work for The Orlando Sentinel Test Kitchen for three decades.

Betty married Arthur Boza, Jr. on September 7, 1951 in Key West. The couple had 4 children, daughters Deborah Boza-Valledor and Theresa Robles of Orlando,  and sons Arthur "Art" Boza of Miami and Charles "Charlie" Boza of Blue Ridge, GA.

Betty was best known for love of family and her cooking!

Betty is survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren

Betty is preceded in death by Charles Filer - father, Edna Carey - mother, Arthur Boza, Jr. - Husband.

Betty Boza's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 11:00 AM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home. Reception immediately following Celebration.
