Beatrice Ann Chipman was born with her identical twin sister Bernys on July 20, 1934 in Grove City, PA. Her Father, W. Dale Jamison was an Osteopathic Surgeon and her mother was a Nurse. They moved to Erie, PA where Dr. Jamison was in private practice for a short time and then they moved to Saginaw, MI where they established a 30 bed Osteopathic Hospital. They lived in Saginaw for eight years before moving to Phoenix, AZ where Dr. Jamison became the Chief Surgeon for the Phoenix Osteopathic Hospital. Dr. Jamison became ill and subsequently died in 1949. The remaining family moved to St. Johns, AZ where Ann and her sister graduated from high school. Ann and her sister entered the University of Arizona in 1952 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 1956. During her last year at the University she met and subsequently married Jerry L. Chipman who had just completed pilot training in the USAF. During the next 22 years, she obtained a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and taught Kindergarten for several years in Tucson. Ann moved a total of 19 times before retiring at Dyess AFB, Abilene, TX where she became the President of the Officers Wives Club. They then moved to Corpus Christi, TX. During the next 20 years Ann taught Kindergarten for the Corpus Christi School System, opened her own business and also worked as a Volunteer at the USS Lexington aircraft carrier museum. In 1988, Ann & Jerry moved to Orlando, FL where Jerry joined Simcom Training Centers as a Flight Instructor. Ann joined Bible Study Classes and was an active participant for many years until her death. She is survived by her husband Jerry, sons; Ronald, Steven and Tracy, grandson; Ryan and granddaughters; Amanda and Hope. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home located at 2811 Curry Ford Rd., Orlando, FL 32806.
