Our dear mother passed into the presence of Jesus, with whom she’ll enjoy eternal life (John 5:24), on May 15, 2024. She was a much loved wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, grand-mother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend. She was a lady in an age where there seem fewer than ever. Barbara was born in St. Cloud, FL on March 7, 1930, the second child of William C. & Arvie Lee (Pitcock) Maze. Her siblings included older brother, Earl (deceased), younger sister, Josie Janette Frith (Joe, deceased) and younger brother Billy (deceased).“Mom” and her husband of 66 years, Harold Charles Page, were married at Winter Park’s All Saints Episcopal Church on March 16, 1950. Charles passed away November 5, 2016.Although she lived most of her life in Winter Park, Charles’ service in the U.S. Navy took the family to a number of sites around the world including Londonderry, Northern Ireland, Baltimore, MD, Walnut Creek, CA, Jacksonville, FL, Key West, FL & Washington, D.C. After returning from Madrid, Spain, where she joined Charles as he served in the U.S. Foreign Service at the American Embassy there, Barbara enjoyed a lengthy career with Walt Disney Development Company serving much of the period in an administrative position.Barbara and Charles were parents to children Ronald Dwain Page (Beverly), living in Carmel, IN, Deborah Jo (Page) Wheeler (Jim), living in Orlando, FL. Vicki Lee (Page) Hurd (Brad) and Jacquelyn Cecilia Page, all living in Winter Park, FL.In addition to those mentioned above, her family members included: niece Betty Maze Wallace (Dennis) living in Silsbee, TX, nieces Diana Frith Lanier (Wayne), living in Sun City Center, FL, Sherri Frith and Laura Frith Burdetsky (Bryan, deceased), all residing in the Jacksonville/Orange Park, FL area. Nephew Keith Craig (Tami) reside in Reed City, MI and his sister, niece Sandra (Rodney) Lilly live in Wilmington, NC.“Grandy” loved and treasured her grandchildren: Andrea Brinkerhoff Gross (Marc) of Lake Mary, FL, Brittany Hurd Boutwell (Alan) of Birmingham, AL & Bradley Brooks Hurd (Rebecca) of Winter Park, FL. Mitchell Page (Kristy) and his sister, Libbi Page Ritz (Tyler), are residents of Carmel, IN. And, there were great grandchildren! Andrea & Marc’s: Taylor, Emily & Michael. Mitchell & Kristy’s: Taylor, Tori Page Cornell (Ryan), Trinity, Thomas (friend, Stef) & Timothy, Libbi & Tyler’s: Dorey, Hazel & Christopher (deceased), and Alan & Brittany’s baby girl: Palmer. And, GREAT great grandchildren! Ryan & Tori’s: Henry and Jack.Mom will continue to be greatly missed, but there is great comfort in the realization that she is now living the ultimate life in the most amazing place imaginable with her Creator, the lover of her soul.A memorial service is planned at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home in Orlando, FL, followed by interment at Winter Park’s Palm Cemetery.
