Antoinette (Toni) DeVito Coleman, 83, of Orlando passed away peacefully with family present on November 13, 2023.
Toni was born in Medford, Massachusetts on October 19, 1940, to immigrant parents Luigi and Blanche DeVito. She moved with her family to Winter Park, FL in 1956 where she attended Winter Park High School and graduated in 1958.
She began her career as a secretary/administrator where her short-hand skills and blistering typing speed earned her recognition. Toni married Bill Coleman on July 7, 1965, in which they had a loving 47-year relationship up to his death in 2012. Together they started Monon Realty, a real estate investment and brokerage firm, where Toni was an equal partner and co-Broker.
Although she did not have any biological children, her marriage came with four children which she devotedly and lovingly helped raise as her own. Her selfless nurturing and sacrifice for their well-being truly exemplified “a mother’s love”. She eventually gained the title of “Grandma Toni” where she is leaving behind 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Toni is preceded in death by husband William (Bill) C. Coleman Jr, stepdaughter Bonny Coleman Archer, her sister Marie E. Antonucci and niece Toni Deddens.
She is survived by her sister Louise McCallister, nephews Lance Long, Scott Antonucci, Eric Antonucci and stepchildren Billy Coleman, Kevin Coleman and Kim Moore.
