Antoinette Scagnelli Rovinelli, 101 passed away peacefully on March 12, 2014. Antoinette was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 27, 1912. Antoinette married Patrick Rovinelli on April 21,1935. They lived in Framingham, MA for 57 years. Antoinette worked at General Electric aka Telechron in Ashland, MA for 36 years and retired in 1968. Shortly after retirement, she moved to Deltona, FL. After the passing of her husband in 1969, she moved to Orlando, FL to make her home with her daughter Irene Rice and husband Bernard Rice and resided there for over 40 years. Antoinette was a lifetime member of the original Framingham Heart Program which started in 1947. She loved to play Bingo, do crafts and has made over 2000 baby hats that she donated to the Arnold Palmer Childrens Hospital and Orlando Regional Medical Center. She also made many afghans, potholders and crosses for family and friends. She is survived by her two daughters Irene Rice of Orlando, FL Barbara Richard Snow of Bronson, FL Three grandchildren Steven Linda Rice Dana Karla Rice Sheila Miaoulis and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick Rovinelli and soninlaw Bernard Rice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Orlando, FL on Tuesday, March 18 at 11:30am. Burial will be held at St. Tarcisius Catholic Cemetery in Framingham, MA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be sent to the Framingham Heart Study at 73 Mt.
