Anthony Fred Richardson was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 4, 1947, to the late Paul F. and Alma Richardson. Anthony was the eldest of five sons; Nathan his brother, preceded him in death.
Anthony, fondly known as "Tony" attended East High School in Cleveland, Ohio where he met his high school sweetheart, Sandra Bennett. During this time, he loved to play basketball and baseball.
Tony was scouted by the Baltimore Orioles until he was drafted into the United States Army and served during the Vietnam Era.
In August of 1966, Tony professed his love for Sandra in Holy Matrimony. From this marriage they shared the joy and birth of their son Anthony George.
Tony was first employed by Ohio Savings and First Bank of Cleveland. At both, he was V.P. of mortgage banking. He then worked for Housing of Urban Development (HUD) in Atlanta, Georgia. He later retired in 2010 in Orlando, Florida.
Tony loved bowling, golfing and indulging in the latest greatest technology gadgets. His passion was for watching CNN and cheering on The Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers with Sandra sitting in the chair right beside him.
After 56 beautiful years together, Sandra steadfast by his side, on Saturday morning, June 23, 2018, she wished the loved of her life a final good night but "I will see you later".
Anthony Fred Richardson is survived by his loving wife Sandra, son Anthony (Jacqueline), granddaughters Kortney Jaclan and Kirstan Brooke, three brothers Paul (Kim), Michael (Katrina), Stephen, sister in law (Sharon),
one uncle "Uncle Muffin", one aunt, Mary, a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. A viewing will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, June 30, 2018,
from 9am until time of funeral service at 11am. Interment to follow at Osceola Memory Gardens, Kissimmee, Florida.
