Anna Mae McCumber, 97, passed away on January 21, 2021, in High Springs, FL. Anna Mae McCumber was born on December 31, 1923 in Vermillion County, IL, to John Nelson and Anna Christensen. Anna Mae married Clyde Russell McCumber, the love of her life, in Danville, Illinois. They were married for 68 years. She is survived by her brother, Robert Nelson and sister Viola Morris, daughters: Nancy Bonner (Jaye), Linda Garmon (Robert), and Mary Bratton; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Anna Mae is preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Anna (Christensen) Nelson, brothers, Carl Nelson, Howard Nelson, sisters Catherine Fagner, Martha Custer, Bertha Marshall and Clyde Russell McCumber - spouse. Anna Mae loved her family and her church family, trying new recipes, caring for children, doing crafts and tending her plants. She modeled how to love and follow God and will truly be missed. The visitation for Mrs. Anna Mae McCumber will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 12PM-1PM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, with service following at 1:00 pm. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.
