Amelia L Ingersoll

    Amelia Luciana Ingersoll, 93, of Orlando, FL, has passed away on December 1o, 2024 at Advent Health East with her daughter by her side. Amelia was born January 7, 1931, in Cuba. She is the daughter of Pastor Garces and Alejandrina Pino. She married her wonderful husband Milton Ingersoll on October 25, 1952, in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba with a navy Clergy officiating.  They were married for 63 years until Milton's passing in December of 2015. Their deep and precious love for one another, blessed them with three wonderful children, Amelia Jane, Milton Roy and Elaine Joyce. She also had three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

    Amelia was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She especially loved crocheting, ceramics, cooking and caring for her family. Remaining to cherish Amelia's memory are her daughters Jane (Orlando, FL) and Elaine (Grimsley, TN).  Her granddaughters Christina Heady (David, TN), Amanada Cummins (TN) and Angela Shaver (Justin, TN); great-grandchildren Michael Heady (TN), Jonathan Shaver (TN) and Benjamine Shaver (TN).  Preceding Amelia in death are her husband Milton and son M. Roy Ingersoll.

    A graveside service will be held Friday, December 20, 2024, at 1:00pm at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, Fl with Pastor Clint Kandle officiating.
