Abdul Majid Abdulla

Our loving husband and father, Abdul Majid Abdulla, 71 left his earthly home on November 20, 2024 surrounded by his family, in Orlando, FL.

It was a sad and difficult day but we find comfort in knowing that he's in a better place.

Majid was born on August 4,1953 in a small village in Guyana called Enterprise to Razack and Amina.

Majid moved to the U.S. in 2005 but always looked forward to visiting his homeland, Guyana. He was not a fan of the cold so when he moved to Florida he was content and happy for the sunshine that reminded him of his tropical homeland.

Majid was best known for his kindness, generosity and sense of humour.

He enjoyed fishing trips, watching movies, listening to music, spoiling our puppy, Jax and socializing with family and friends.

Majid was a proud grandfather of Tatiana, Brandon, Arielle and Anna. He fondly called his granddaughters "pumpkin" and loved spending time with his grandson.

Majid is survived by his loving wife of 51 years and his 3 adoring children, Luanna, Rafael and Lizanna (Tammy)

Majid had many close family and friends including Antonio - son-in-law, Vijay - son-in-law, Ann - daughter-in-law, Nazmoon - sister, Shaimoon - sister, Nazim - brother, Richard, Russell, Ravika and many more nieces and nephews.

Majid is preceded in death by Razack - father, Amina - Mother, Hamid - brother, Hanif - brother, Rafeek - brother, Halimoon - sister and Data - sister

We will miss him dearly and can't wait to see him again.

The celebration of life for Abdul Majid Abdulla will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm

There will be visitation from 3:00pm to 4:00pm

at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home located at 2811 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, 32806.
