Migdalia Perezcanto

In loving memory of our mother, Migdalia Perezcanto, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at age 95. Migdalia was the devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Migdalia is survived by her 2 daughters: Jacqueline Perezcanto and Elizabeth Robert; seven grandchildren: John and Brandon Robert, Miguel, Walter, Juan Carlos, Alexander Mangione and Maritza Lopez; nine great-grandchildren: Jonathan and Alejandro Robert, Sophia, Anthony and Victoria Robert, Chanel and Gabriel Lopez, Alexander II Mangione and Arthur Mangione. Migdalia is also survived by three sisters: Gladys Diaz, Esther Castaneda, and Ada Martinez. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Growing up, our mother was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. She was a woman of strong Catholic faith, and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.

She was a beautiful woman, always dressed to the nines from head to toe, always proper. She was in Hospice care since 2016 and never wanted any visiting nurses or doctors to ever see her in a robe or night gown, it didn't matter how bad she felt, she always wanted to look her best.

Migdalia was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family and others before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Mom, you will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.

The funeral service will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home on September 3, 2022, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm, Services begin at 2:00 pm. The burial will be right after, at Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734, there will be a gravesite ceremony at 4:00 pm sharp.
